Explore one of Dublin’s finest and most picturesque villages called Dalkey. Only 30 minutes from Dublin by Dart this unspoilt gem of  a village is well worth a visit. Delve into village life. It is not just the charming shops and buildings that make this village a wonderful place to live. ​Schedule details
  • Tour duration:  3 hours including 1 hour for lunch
  • Meeting Point: outside Dalkey Dart Station,village side. The station  is 35 minutes from Dublin City Centre
  • Tour finishes back at the beginning of our tour, at Dalkey Dart Station
  • All walking is done on public footpaths
  • Tours are in English only
  • Tours start at 10am and finish at 2pm every day except Sunday
  • Small group size max 8 people

Tour Description
We will meet up and then stroll through the village visiting some lovely indpendently owned shops, run by people who are passionate about their subjects whether books, food or coffee. Will will stop at a few the food establishments, listen to the family owners tell us about their artisan suppliers, then a small tasting.  Next we will head off for a quick coffee stop at a local coffee shop, then we will walk around the village and take in the views, strolling past some of the finest houses in the area where the rich and famous live. We will stop at the quaint Coliemore Harbour where the locals meet to row  in the summer evenings,. Then a 10 minutes walk back to the village in time for a well deserved  drink, maybe a glass of Guinness and a delicious light lunch. Afterwards you can make your way back to Dublin by Dart, the station is 100metres from the village centre or you could spend more time in the village, perhaps picking up some local produce bought earlier or to just simply browse for a while longer.
